Hello, Dollies!
I've chosen Louis Armstrong's Hello Dolly, today to celebrate the birth date of Dolly the Sheep! My admiration for Louis Armstrong was developed because of several facts, of which I can highlight: his rough, hoarse and unmistakable voice; his skills as a trumpeter; and his undeniable contribution to jazz music and it's evolution.
Louis was important not only in a musical level, as well as interventionaly, with his revolutionary lyrics against racism (in which we find influences of Martin Luther King).
How can we not love Louis and his mesmerizing melodies??
I'll leave below a picture of him accompanied by a lady we all know and admire, Ella Fitzgerald ("what a wonderful duet!"):
xoxo, Lucy
